What is a Hobby Greenhouse?
A hobby greenhouse is, basically, a smaller, more economical greenhouse. Not everyone has a lot of space to erect a mansion of a greenhouse. A small 8′x8′ greenhouse will definitely be a great addition to your garden without crowding out the rest of your space, it’s about the same size as a tool shed.

One of the biggest concerns that many gardeners have when preparing for their spring planting is weather and temperature. Nothing is more frustrating than spending countless hours and money getting your crops down in March, only to get a bad string of cold weather which kills many of your plants in April. Just this year, here in Utah, we had snow all way until the end of May. My little hobby greenhouse was my saving grace this spring.
Your greenhouse will also serve you well in the fall. Long after you’ve harvested that last of your crops, your greenhouse will provide you with a few additional weeks, or even months of growing. There are many greenhouse owners that use their greenhouses year round.
