Why Should One Have a Greenhouse to Grow Vegetables?
Of all the horticultural exercises that one can do, the most satisfying one would be to eat the vegetables that you have grown yourself. Sure, you can get appreciation from staring at the beautiful colours that your flowers produce, and yes, there are few things that beat the smell of fresh Jasmine blossoms first in the morning; but for some reason, any food that you have grown yourself, somehow just tastes better. Unfortunately, your insatiable appetite for baby marrows or patty-pans all year round can never be quelled. As good, as they are they just won’t grow normally (if at all) during the off-season. That’s precisely the perfect reason to build yourself a greenhouse. You can plan your growing stages accordingly and enable yourself to have those much-desired vegetables whenever you want.
The main benefit of having a greenhouse is that it keeps a constant temperature and internal environment that is conducive to year-round growing of vegetables, regardless of the weather outside. It’s important to note that those conditions don’t stay that way by themselves but it definitely beats trying to grow everything outside. Once you are able to keep that internal environment constant, you can, with a bit of planning, have your marrows grown just in time for the off-season. To give you an example, you could sow some tomato seeds during the month of March and you would be able to re-plant them into bigger pots by around May or so. If you play your cards right for the remainder of the year you should have enough of them ready in time for the winter, later on in that same year.

Why Should Small Gardeners Use a Greenhouse?
There are many advantages to growing your plants in a greenhouse, for they are buildings which are specifically designed to protect plants. Although greenhouses have been around for centuries, finding small greenhouses that could withstand the elements have been more easily available in the past few years.
As more and more people have recognized the advantages of using greenhouses to protect their plants, manufacturers have responded to consumer demand by building smaller greenhouses that can be heated, that can withstand winds of up to 80 miles per hour, and which are made of strong material so can be used even where there is a lot of snow.
